Camp Work Alberta Guide

What to expect from Alberta camp jobs, rotations, travel and site readiness.

Clarify camp and travel arrangements

Ask where the camp is located, how you reach it, whether transfers are provided and what happens if transport is delayed. Camp accommodation does not automatically mean flights are included.

Separate rotation from shift length

A 14/7 rotation describes days on and days off. A 12-hour shift describes the length of a working day. Confirm both, along with day or night work and the timing of travel days, before deciding whether the schedule fits.

Prepare for the stay

Request the camp packing list, room arrangements, meal schedule, laundry and connectivity information. Keep employer contact details and required documents available offline. Share your earliest start date and any travel constraints in your profile.
