Alberta posts 2026–27 Steamfitter-Pipefitter training schedule

Alberta’s apprenticeship catalogue now lists active 2026–27 Steamfitter-Pipefitter classroom blocks, including sessions beginning August 31.

Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training has published the 2026–27 classroom instruction catalogue for Steamfitter-Pipefitter apprentices. The current catalogue includes active block-release classes at the Edmonton Pipe Trades Educational Trust beginning August 31, 2026, with additional dates through 2027.

This is directly relevant to apprentices planning field work around classroom periods. Training blocks can affect availability for shutdowns, turnarounds and camp rotations, so workers should keep both their apprenticeship period and upcoming training dates accurate when discussing jobs.

Alberta also published its Steamfitter-Pipefitter 2025–26 annual program update in August. The annual updates provide a broader view of participation, training and outcomes across apprenticeship programs.

Class availability can change during the year. Workers should use Alberta’s official TradeSecrets catalogue for current registration status rather than relying on a saved schedule or third-party post.
