Employer Team Roles, Seats and Invitation Links
Manage company access without confusing workspace roles with platform administration.
Understand the workspace roles An employer workspace has owner, admin, recruiter and viewer roles. Owner and admin can manage permitted team actions and billing purchases. Recruiter is intended for hiring work rather than team administration or buying credit packages. Viewer is read only. Ownership transfer is an owner action. A company admin is not a WrenchRoster platform administrator. Membership in one company does not grant access to another company's private information. Server side permission checks remain authoritative even when a page or link is visible. Create and share an invitation Open the team's Workspace access page. An authorized owner or admin can enter the recipient's email and select the appropriate role, then use Invite and copy link . The generated invitation is a one time link with a seven day expiry. Share that link privately with the intended teammate. Do not assume an email was automatically delivered: the current flow copies a link. Never post invitation tokens publicly. If clipboard access fails, check invitation history before generating repeated invitations; an invitation may already have been created. Seats and acceptance problems Review used seats, pending invitations and the available seat count. Pending invitations can affect capacity. Use the recorded plan seat limit rather than a fixed number quoted in an old article. A recipient should sign in using the intended email account. Expired, previously used or mismatched invitations require the appropriate owner or admin to review the record and provide a fresh link when necessary. An invitation does not silently create a new person's account. Membership changes and billing Disable, restore, remove and role change actions are subject to permissions and safeguards. Do not transfer ownership or remove a colleague merely to troubleshoot a loading problem. Confirm the company and the intended recipient before any membership change. Read sign in recovery, billing troubleshooting and contacting support. If a page cannot load, treat its error as unavailable data, not proof that the company has no members or credits.
