Resume Stuck Processing or Upload Failed

Resolve PDF and DOCX upload problems, understand processing states and review extracted information before confirming it.

Check the file first The worker resume workflow accepts PDF or DOCX files up to 10 MB. The file must not be empty, and its actual type must match the supported format. Renaming an image or another document to end in .pdf does not convert it into a PDF. Use a readable document and keep a copy of the original. Upload it while signed into the worker account whose profile you intend to update. Do not try to reuse another person's upload or an obsolete inactive resume record. Understand the stages The workflow distinguishes no resume, uploading, uploaded, processing, needs review, confirmed and failed. The review stage can appear as Ready for review . Uploaded does not mean extraction has finished, and extracted information is not automatically confirmed as accurate. When review becomes available, compare the extracted details with the original. Correct mistakes before confirming. A processing result is not a verification of employment, trade qualification or safety certification. When processing does not finish 1. Check whether the page shows a specific error or a review action rather than continuing processing. 2. Refresh the profile once and confirm you are still signed into the correct account. 3. If an upload failed, check the file format and size before retrying. 4. Avoid repeatedly replacing a resume while an existing submission is still being processed. 5. If the problem persists, contact support with the approximate upload time, file type, file size and visible status. Do not email passwords, sign in links or an entire sensitive resume just to report the initial error. Support can request relevant evidence through an appropriate channel if needed. There is no guaranteed extraction completion time stated here. Related help Read creating a worker profile, ticket uploads and contacting support. Resume extraction and safety ticket review are separate workflows; completing one does not complete the other.
