Distinguish trade certificates, pressure-welding records, welder qualifications and inspector levels.

Separate the credential families A Welder trade certificate is not the same document as a pressure welding qualification or a welding inspector certificate. WrenchRoster includes separate categories because these records demonstrate different scopes. ABSA's Grade B information distinguishes the Alberta Grade B Certificate of Competency from performance qualifications. ABSA states that the Grade B certificate itself has no expiration date; the relevant performance qualifications and their applicable maintenance requirements must still be checked. Do not apply one blanket expiry to both records. Understand CWB qualifications and inspector levels CWB welder qualification testing concerns defined welding qualifications and their conditions. Record the actual scope rather than assuming one test covers every process, position or employer context. CWB visual welding inspector certification has Levels 1, 2 and 3 with different requirements and responsibilities. A training course completion record is not necessarily achieved inspector certification. Use the level and endorsements actually held, and consult CWB for renewal and recertification requirements. Present the evidence accurately Match the platform category to the document. Preserve its issuer, type, level, process or scope, and actual validity information. Do not describe an inspector as qualified to perform all welding, or a welder as qualified to inspect simply because both documents mention CWB. When multiple records are needed to substantiate one job requirement, ask the employer how to provide them.
