Employer Notifications, Saved Searches and Activity

Understand what recorded notifications and activity show, and which automation or analytics should not be assumed.

Use recorded notifications as a starting point The employer notification centre displays notifications available to the signed in member and workspace. Use the supported read actions and open the associated hiring record to confirm the current state. A notification describes an event; the underlying application, purchase or offer may have changed since that event. A quiet notification list does not prove no activity occurred. Not every possible event has a notification producer, and a loading error is not an empty result. Check the relevant operational page when a notification is missing. Saved searches do not imply scheduled delivery Saved searches store a supported set of search filters for reuse. Review the filters when reopening a saved search because candidate data and requirements can change. A saved search is not a guarantee of new matches or a reservation of candidates. Do not assume a saved search alerts preference means scheduled email alerts are running. The inspected implementation does not establish a working scheduler for that feature. Likewise, a notification preference does not guarantee delivery of every event by email. Read activity and analytics with their limits The employer activity view is a company scoped record, not access to the platform administrator's complete audit log. Historical events may not have been backfilled. Do not expect it to reconstruct every action from before activity logging was introduced. Analytics should be interpreted according to available recorded data. A metric labelled unavailable is not zero. Candidate profile views cannot be inferred from applications, messages or unlocks when there is no corresponding view event source. Report inconsistencies precisely Confirm the selected company, filters and date range. Compare a summary with the relevant underlying record before reporting a discrepancy. Send support the record reference and filter context, not another company's private data. Read employer search and hiring, team permissions and contacting support. This guide does not promise complete event coverage, automatic outreach or real time email delivery.
